DEFCON 21 Badge
We are creating a DEFCON 21 badge that will be used for entry to the DC801 party. The goal of the badge is to be able to play Triple Triad with other badges.
Triple Triad is the mini game that is played in Final Fantasy 8. It is a card game that is played on a 3x3 board. Each card is played in one space. Each card has four numbers in the corner (top, left, right, and bottom) that represent the strength of the side of that card. When cards are placed next to each other on the board, the card with the highest number wins.
Each player starts with 6 cards of their choice.
One player is randomly selected to go first.
If the card belonging to player b that is placed next to an existing card belonging to player a and has a higher number, then player a's card is flipped and now owned by player b.
If the card belonging to player b that is placed next to an existing card belonging to player a and has a lower number, then nothing happens.
If a player places a card next to one of his that already exists on the board, nothing happens.
The player with the most cards in their control on the board wins.
Here is an example of a card
As you can see, there are numbers in the top left corner. Each number represents the strength of the side that correlates to that number. In this case, the left side is strength of 9, bottom is 6, and right is 4. A represents 10
Cards we will be using
We are going to copy the list of all the existing FF8 cards and just substitute names. All of the card values will remain the same. SquareNix has already tested the system heavily (I presume) so why fuck with it?
There are 10 levels
